New Beginnings Art Journal Spread for Bee Crafty

  Hello!

This week on the Bee Crafty blog I am sharing a fairly quick art journal spread...

1) I created the coloured background first by blending out distress crayons with clear gesso.
2) Pieces of washi tape were torn from the roll and stuck down using collage medium.  I also added white splatters with gloss spray.
3) The butterfly was stamped onto the background then coloured using permanent markers.  Then highlights and doodles were added using posca paint pens.
4) The sentiment was stamped onto black card and embossed with white powder.
5) Once the sentiment had been added I drew a border around the pages.

Sunflower Tag for Bee Crafty

  Hello!

This week on the Bee Crafty blog I have created a tag for my tag album...

Last week I did a Face Book live over on the Bee Crafty Face Book page where I was using alcohol inks and related products onto a variety of tags...

https://www.facebook.com/BeeCraftyStamps/videos/1506613856394741/

and so I decided to use a couple of them for this project...

First I added some white gesso through the Oval Lace inkable onto the smaller tag, then mounted it onto the larger.  Then I mounted them both onto the largest white tag from the tag cutting dies set...

Next I stamped and cut out the Doodle Art Sunflower (regular) and coloured it with Ecoline markers and a water brush before adding it to the tag...

Finally I stamped one of the sentiments from the Small Words set a few times and added them on before sticking the tag into my tag album...

Poisonous Art Journal Spread for Bee Crafty

  Hello!

I have a spooky feeling art journal spread to share today...

1) I added the formulas and graphs washi tape in patches around the pages then stamped some of the crackle background into areas using black archival ink...

2) After brushing collage medium over the top I used distress oxide inkpads (wilted violet, crackling campfire & twisted citron) by smooshing them one at a time onto a mat then adding them to the background in layers...

3) Using the medieval paint from Dina Wakley I next added stenciling through the spiderweb d'inkable...

4) Then I stamped out the poison bottle 3 times as well as the skull and raven and the nevermore raven set wording and coloured them using distress oxide inks...

5) Finally these were adhered to the spread and a bit of shading added beneath the bottles...

La Luna Art Journal Spread for Bee Crafty

  Hello!

Today on the Bee Crafty blog I am sharing an art journal spread made using the Moon and Stars collection of stamps...

1) I used my Dylusions small flip journal and started by applying distress inks using a blending brush...

2) Next I added some stenciling with the stars d'inkable...

3) Using the same inks already applied, I added stamping using the Stars Textures set...

4) To add more interest I stamped with archival inks with stamps from the La Luna set, then used watercolour and white pen to create more details...

5) To complete the spread I added the La Luna stamp and then stamped one of the Moons and Stars sentiments onto a die cut tag.

6) For extra texture and sparkle I dabbed stickles glitter gel (moon dust) onto parts of the circles then added more through the stars d'inkable (although it may be tricky to see on the photos!)...
