Lightbulb Collage Canvas for Bee Crafty

Hello!

This week on the Bee Crafty blog I am sharing a canvas that I have created...

I started by using a piece of tissue paper that I had previously coloured with gloss sprays.  This I then stamped using black archival ink with the Script, Numbers and letters and numbers from Typewriter Alpha.  Then I adhered it to the canvas using distress collage medium making sure it went round the sides as well...

Next I used the metal work alpha inkable with crackle paste for extra texture...

To create my focal point I stamped out a butterfly (cutting away the wings), the lightbulb, one of the stitch borders and a sentiment.  These were then coloured and I also added glossy accents to the bulb to give it a more glassy look...

Finally these were added to the canvas using glue gel...

Alcohol Ink Doodle Art Card for Bee Crafty

Hello!

This week on the Bee Crafty blog I am sharing a card with a step by step...

I started by creating an alcohol ink background on YUPO paper with inks and gold mixative...

Next I used alcohol lift ink through the Fernando big inkable and cut the piece down to the correct size I wanted for my card...

After this I stenciled some white gesso through the leafy branch d'inkable and then used a black posca pen to add details and doodles.  This was then matted onto black card...

I stamped out the Doodle Art Sunflower, Doodle Art Butterfly and leaves from the Just Bloom stamp sets.  These were coloured using markers and then I sprayed them with a clear glitter spray for some extra bling...

Finally I added them to the card, mounting the flowers together for a full sunflower.  To add some finishing touches I added a few glittery gems and a sentiment from Everyday Sentiments 2...

Here are the products that I used:

Just Bloom ATC's for Bee Crafty

Hello!

Today on the Bee Crafty blog I am sharing a very quick make where I created a couple of artist trading cards...

The cards are 2 and a half by 3 and a half inches in size and were cut from watercolour card.  The backgrounds were created using watercolour paints which I blended using lots of water...

Next once the paint was totally dry I applied clear embossing ink through the honeycomb d'inkable then heated gold embossing powder.

The Just Bloom flowers were stamped onto separate card using archival ink then coloured using sparkle watercolour pens.  Once they were applied to the cards I cut off the excess and coloured the edges of the cards with the archival black ink pad...

Finally I stamped out the sentiment from the set and cut the individual words out.

Once these were stuck down I used a black posca pen to add doodling around the words and edges of the cards.

Here are the products that I used...

Perennial Tree Mini Journal Spread for Bee Crafty

Hello!

This week on the Bee Crafty blog I thought that I would continue using the book that I showed last week by decorating some of the inside pages...

I started by using acrylic sprays with some masks and stencils, the circle mask from the small circle easy frame plus the leafy branch and circles d'inkables...

Then I used some of the texture circles with archival ink...

I wanted to make the circles more of a feature so coloured them and did some black and white doodling.  I also edged the pages with black archival and added some white splashes...

Next I wanted to include quite a striking focal image so decided to go for a silhouette tree.  I stamped it onto white tissue paper then added it to the page using collage medium...

Once this was in place I decided to add some stamping using grey ink for a more subtle look, then added my main sentiment...
