Design Team Tuesday: Handbags at dawn...

Hello!

A quick post today of a couple of the projects that I made for the most recent Leonie Pujol launch on HOCHANDA...

This gift box is made by folding a piece of 12" x 12" paper or card, in this case it was cream coloured card.  The details of how it is folded can be found HERE on a lovely blog by Verity Cards.  I also used one of the embossing folders, covering the inside of the folder with versamark before embossing through the machine then adding and heating red embossing powder to create the background of the flap.  The front hearts are made using some of the stamps, cut out and added to the flap.

I also made a card using a handbag shaped card that I already had in my stash...

I ran the card through the love lines folder at an angle then coloured it using distress inks to create a leatherish look!  Some water drops were also flicked on to create an aged look then the words and hearts added from the stamps.

Hopefully these projects show a couple more ways to use the new products, there are also more ideas over on Leonie and the rest of the design teams blogs...

Due to it being near to the end of the school year I am a bit busy here and there at the moment so I will be back on Friday this week with another project, I hope you are able to pop by for a look,

Jane x
